FINAL DAY

That's right, tomorrow is Steve's final day and then......SUMMER BREAK! Brandon and Courtney are going with Steve tomorrow on his last day. He has made hoagies for them and I put in my effort on a pasta salad for them for lunch. If you have ever had one of my husband's sandwiches, you know that he makes one of the best sandwiches in these here United States of America. Thought that I would Southern fry that for you :) The kids and Steve are excited and Callie is excited to spend the day with me tomorrow. She says that we will play games, watch a little t.v. and do some cooking. I asked her what we will be cooking, but she didn't know. She is going to dream about it tonight and let me know tomorrow. After they are done, We are then going over to a ladies house to pick bing cherries. I LOVE bing cherries. They are probably my favorite fruit. I am excited for that. I'm especially excited because they are free and right now in the stores, they are running $4.88/lb. Yikes!!! Summer Break also means getting more work done on the house.

Courtney's home crafted closet organizer is done and installed. Her blinds are installed. I just have to shorten them. I'll post pictures probably on Tues. night. We'll see. All that is left, is hanging the closet doors. We have begun demo on one of Brandon's walls. We won't get much work done on Saturday due to Heritage Day.

We had a treat at church tonight. Bro. Hawkins preached a wonderful message on faith. There was such a sweet spirit tonight. I can't even really describe. Courtney sang a special with me and did a wonderful job. She almost backed out on me at the last minute, but I asked her if she didn't have a microphone, if that would help. She said that it would and got up there and sang beautifully for the Lord. She is glad that she did and I look forward to singing with her more.

That's gonna wrap it up for tonight. I want to chill out with my husband for a little and wind down the evening.

How great for Brandon and Coco to spend the day with Steve and enjoy one of his famous sandwiches, which I have yet to be honored with, by the way. ~giggle~

So...did Callie decide what the two of you will be cooking up? Have fun with the cherries. Blackberries are almost ripe here and Reesa and I are going to pick those bushes clean, because they are wild and free and don't cost a fortune, just a few scratches.

I didn't know that Coco was singing these days. How great to have her singing with you. I would have love to have heard it...maybe one day.

I miss you too!!! We had a great service too, yesterday. Isn't it great that God can be at more than one place at the same time?
