Do you spell smoky with or without an e? I didn't know, so I spelt it both ways. Anyhow, here is a picture of our kitty cat. Isn't she gorgeous?Yes, it's true! At this very moment I am displaying very poor time management. My husband and son are slaving away in the basement to get Brandon's room done and where am I? I should be ashamed of myself, and quite frankly.....I am, so this will be a very short post. Although my other readers and commentors are away, this is actually mostly for Sis. Tammmi and Sis. Marcia, my other faithful blog readers and commentors. Love you guys :) Hopefully the others will read them when they return and can get all caught up.
I thought I would just keep you updated on what's going on. We are working relentlessly on the basement. Steve's hard work is showing and I will be posting pictures, hopefully soon. We have been working on it during the day, then in the evenings we have been walking a trail that runs through town called the Greenway. It's great! You're walking through town, next to a very busy street, but don't even realize it. It's about a mile one way, which is enough to wear Callie out. Yes!!!! Every evening that we walk, she comes home and crashes. Hard to believe that anything could wear her out, so kudos to the Greenway.
I really should get going on the basement.

Callie and Smokey are beautiful. Glad to hear that you guys are making progress.
We have a trail that runs along Hwy 20, however it is like a 60 mile trail and I am not going to walk the entire thing...I would be done in, like Callie. I do walk three to four miles a day on it, five days a week. I saw pictures of myself at Grace's wedding and had nightmares for a month. I seriously was starting to look like Violet (Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, original) when she blew up...only I was red rather than purple and I couldn't be drained by the Oompa Loompas. I feel great now that I am walking and using the bowflex. We even got my husband walking with us now.
That is so great. Good for you! We haven't gone walking since Monday night and I'm feeling rather large. I can't wait to see you. Will you make it to the Assembly?
