SICK A BEIN' SICK

Steve came home from Family Retreat with a cold. Being the sweetie that he is, he decided to share it with me. What a peach!!! Needless to say, I have been sick for the last week and it doesn't seem to be getting much better. Steve's sister, Angie, called last night and when I answered the phone, she thought I was Steve. People think my voice is fairly low anyhow, but when I'm sick, I can really give Barry White a run for his money.
Brandon had practice last night and got his position. He is starting Tight End and starting Defensive End. Those are the positions that he wanted, so I am very happy for him. He won't see a lot of action, because they really don't throw the ball a lot at this age. The first game is Monday, and we are all pretty excited for that.
Not much else going on, so please pray for me that this cold disipates like.....NOW! You know, when you're an at-home mom, you don't really get to take a day off of work to recuperate. I have a pile of laundry on my bed, calling my name

I am so sorry that you are feeling poorly. I'm in the same boat with a horribly sore throat, but...God is going to touch and heal both of us. I'll be praying for ya.

I hope you get totally well SOON!!!
My cold is gone, but Sam's is still hanging on. He can't seem to kick it.

I think I began to celebrate too early. Sam and I are possibly in the same boat. That nasty scratchy throat is back. YUCK! Sam, hang in there! Prayin' for you

Tammi- how are you doing? Any better? Prayin' for you, too.

My throat is still itchy, but the sinus headache is gone. Praise the Lord! I've decided that I'm having an allergy attack, but it is going to be gone by next week when I start training at the college bookstore. God hasn't let this get too bad before touching me and I am forever grateful to His touch. How are you feeling? I'm still praying! I'll add Sam to that too.

Sam is doing better, not 100%, but better.
